I have loved Melissa & Doug toys ever since I started working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the school system. These toys definitely stand up to multiple children playing with them constantly. I also love that their toys are made out of wood instead of plastic. Wood toys are SO much better for children to explore different textures and smells while playing. Plastic toys cannot do that for them. Especially for children with special needs, wooden toys are ideal!
My daughter is 16 months old and we currently have one Melissa & Doug toy that she loves, the wooden flip owl! I used it in a fall sensory bin I made for her in October!
